Monett firefighters were called to SRC Automotive, located in the former Jumping-Jacks warehouse on Fourteenth Street, shortly before noon on Friday. According to Fire Chief Tom Jones, a piece of equipment had overheated. Flames traveled up the machine's chimney into the roof. Firefighters were able to put out the fire quickly and examined the roof at length to make sure fire was not hidden in the insulation. [Times Photo by Murray Bishoff]...
