Locals seem to favor new anti-meth plan (12/08/10)

Chamber Checks now available (12/08/10)
Chamber Checks for 2011 are now available from the Monett Chamber of Commerce office. The new checks, printed in green ink, will be good through Dec. 31, 2011. The old checks, printed in red ink, will expire at the end of this month. Findings noted in Barry County audit (12/08/10)
Findings from the biannual audit of Barry County were released last week by State Auditor Susan Montee's Office. The 24-page report, covering 2008 and 2009, listed 10 different findings where the auditors identified weaknesses or problems with areas of county government accounting and management practices.
