Monett merchants ready for shopping season (11/29/10)
The Christmas shopping season officially got underway on Friday. Monett merchants were ready though not sure what customers wanted this season. "I wish I knew," said Berneice Morris at Fashion Crossroads. Morris's sentiment was generally shared. Most merchants admitted they hardly knew what items would bring shoppers in with certainty. Members of the Barry County Health Department Board of Trustees were warned of a scam targeting restaurants in southwest Missouri at their November meeting. Downtown business gets facelift (11/29/10)
Renovations at Peppers and Company in downtown Monett have refreshed the store's original historic charm. Orchestra plans Christmas concerts (11/29/10)
