Plans begin for Monett Strawberry Fest (10/27/10)
A meeting will be held at 6 p.m. tomorrow to make plans for the first Strawberry Festival in Monett. The session will be held at Denali Dreams, 404 E. Broadway, and all interested persons are invited to attend. Shaun Bennett, owner of Denali Dreams and one of the main organizers of the Broadway Nights program, is spearheading the effort. ...
Preparations begun for 2011 Relay for Life (10/27/10)
Major changes are planned for the 16th annual Relay for Life in Monett. Organizers heard details at the kick-off rally for the 2011 Relay last night at Big Baldy's Barbecue restaurant. Co-chairpersons Betty Messer and Jennifer Cendroski announced the American Cancer Society's fundraising event will be held on Friday, May 20, at Burl Fowler Stadium. Clark Center to close Cassville office (10/27/10)
