Monett girls win Barry Co. Fair royal crowns (06/16/10)
Royalty was crowned on Saturday for the Barry County Fair. Five contestants competed for little princess, princess and queen before a panel of judges at Gizmo's Event Center in Wheaton. PC council signs Alltel settlement (06/16/10)
The city council in Pierce City met in special session last week to approve a settlement with Alltel for unpaid back business license taxes. The deal, arising out of a class action lawsuit with other cities, will bring $20,755.71 to the city. Funds are expected to be paid in August...
