McCaskill hosts meeting with business leaders (04/01/10)
United States Senator Claire McCaskill met with Monett 14 business and city leaders at the Monett Chamber of Commerce office on Wednesday morning. Business is hit by burglars two times (04/01/10)
A Monett area business was the target of two break-ins during a three-day period this past week, according to Lawrence County Sheriff Brad DeLay. Equipment was been stolen on two separate dates at Fritz Implement, Inc., located north of Monett on Highway H. On March 27, during the overnight hours, a Kubota RTV was stolen by use of a Fritz Implement tractor. The RTV was valued at approximately $13,000. B-L Library board accepts pair of bids (04/01/10)
The Barry-Lawrence Regional Library Board of Trustees met this month and approved several bids at its March 11 meeting. Board members reviewed bids to repair the parking lots at the Cassville and Mt. Vernon branch libraries.
