Monett City Council awards fuel contract (12/17/09)
The Monett City Council has voted to award a contract for the purchase of fuel for city vehicles to Murphy's Oil, switching the service from the local H&W Oil. After discussing the matter in a work session, council members concluded the Murphy's deal, at a one-cent-per-gallon discount, offered greater advantages compared to a two-cent deal from H&W.
