Monett to seek bond money from counties (09/11/09)
The city of Monett is pursuing acquisition of bonds available under the federal stimulus program with the assistance of the Barry and Lawrence county commissions. While researching the federal stimulus spending program, Monett City Administrator Dennis Pyle discovered Recovery Zone Bonds are available under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. R-1 Board to pursue building project (09/11/09)
The Monett R-1 Board of Education took steps toward its next construction project at the Monett Elementary School during a special meeting held this week. The Missouri Dairy Association (MDA) has requested Governor Jay Nixon call for a special session of the Missouri General Assembly to address the current crisis facing Missouri's dairy producers.
