Monett accepts settlement with phone company (08/10/09)
Arrangements for a settlement with Southwestern Bell Telephone that should bring more than $126,000 to the city of Monett were announced at a special meeting of the Monett City Council last week. Three Barry County people were injured in single vehicle accidents over the weekend. The Missouri Highway Patrol issued the following reports. Michael K. Williams, 60, of Monett, received moderate injuries in a motorcycle accident on Kodiak Road, seven miles south of Joplin, at 3:07 p.m. on Aug. 9. According to Trooper T.R.
