Beginning on Monday, July 13, The Monett Times will begin publishing a new "Monday-Tuesday" edition. The newspaper, which will be dated for Tuesday, will go to press on Monday afternoon and be in the newstands by Monday evening. The newspapers will be dropped off at the post office by 5 p.m. every Monday and delivered on Tuesday. Carriers will deliver the newspaper to Monett readers earlier in the day on Tuesday...

Motorcyclist Killed In Crash (07/10/09)
A Cape Fair motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle Barry County crash at 5:40 a.m. yesterday a half mile south of Jenkins at the intersection of Highways 39 and 248. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Michael Asher, 25, rider of a Harley Davidson motorcycle, was killed. He was taken to St. John's Hospital-Cassville where he was pronounced dead at 6:53 a.m...
