Innovative hospital program offers pediatric weight management help (05/27/09)
Helping kids develop healthy eating habits and active lifestyles are two of the main goals of Cox Monett Hospital's Committed to Kids program, which begins on June 8. This will be the third summer, that the hospital offers its innovative eight-week pediatric weight management program to area children and their parents. In the first two years, the program grew from four to eight participants, and this summer, the hospital is looking to double participation again...
Crime Stoppers work to raise public awareness (05/27/09)
Members of the Barry-Lawrence Crime Stoppers discussed thefts of a utility truck and road signs during the group's monthly meeting on Thursday, May 21. On May 9, a white Ford F350 with dual rear wheels was stolen from an AgForte facility in Aurora. Fishing Derby For Children Slated For Saturday At Monett Park Lake (05/27/09)
