Victims identified in Shell Knob fire (05/18/09)
SHELL KNOB, Mo. (AP) -- The five victims of a fatal mobile home fire in rural southwestern Missouri early Saturday morning have been identified as a mother, her three children and a family friend. Hospice care is topic of Kiwanis meeting (05/18/09)
Services offered through Community Hospices of America were detailed by hospice care consultant Joni Moore for the Monett Kiwanis Club this week. Moore, who has been a registered nurse for 18 years, has spent 12 years in the hospice field. No tennis players from the Monett Cubs placed, but two singles entries and one doubles entry from the Cubs logged second round wins Friday in the Class 1A District 5 tournament at Rogersville. Johannes Eisenhardt, of Monett, a seventh seed in singles competition, defeated Chris Schultz, of Reeds Spring, 6-1 and 6-3 in the second round after having a first round bye.
