Charles D. "Pappy" Isbell, 86, of Monett, Mo., passed away Monday, May 4, 2009, at St. John's Hospital-Aurora. Mr. Isbell was born January 19, 1923 in Monett, Mo., the son of Luther and Emma Wyatt Isbell. He retired after 30 years with the City of Monett in the maintenance department. He was a World War II Army veteran, serving in Germany from January 1943 until February 1946. He was a member of Monett V.F.W. Post 4207...
