Cox Monett celebrates its corps of volunteers (04/24/09)
At least twice a week, Jack Frost can be found in the hallways of Cox Monett Hospital, wheeling an electric keyboard from room to room where he treats patients to their favorite songs and hymns. Frost, a long-time Monett businessman now retired, is also an accomplished musician who was a choral directing major in college. Clean-Up Week coming Monday in Monett (04/24/09)
On Monday the Monett Sanitation Department will begin its annual Clean-Up Week sweep of the city. To help residents dispose of large items like furniture, excess brush or scrap metal, the city will take such material away free of charge.
