The annual Pierce City Christmas parade was held on Saturday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m., a change from the routine of evening parades.

Santa Claus was the guest of honor at the 58th annual Christmas Parade at Pierce City on Dec. 8. Mr. Claus was spying on all the kids to determine which kids were naughty or nice. He rode in on a city fire truck.

Glen and Terry Fields won first place in the classic car division at the 58th annual Christmas Parade in Pierce City. The Fields entered their 1957 Thunderbird.

No parade is complete with out a band. The Pierce City Marching Eagles provided musical entertainment for the crowd in attendance of the Dec. 8 Christmas parade. For their efforts the Marching Eagles took first place in the marching band division.
