Monett Christmas parade

The annual Monett christmas parade was held on Saturday, Dec. 8, and proceeded west down Broadway from Eighth Street.
The heavily decorated Monett Area YMCA bus took first place for business and industry floats in the Monett Christmas parade. The bus was preceded by children dipping into a wagon to throw snowballs at the crowd.

The Monett Marching Pride band and flag corps was the first group of performers behind Santa Claus in Monett's Christmas parade. As hosts, the Monett band was not judged for a trophy.
