Monett High School held its football homecoming parade on Friday, Sept. 14, in downtown Monett.
The Mighty Mite cheerleaders waved to the crowd and shared candy as they promoted the spirit of the moment at Friday's homecoming parade.

The junior class presented an on-field scrimmage overseen by a cardboard tank to illustrate the slogan "Protect Our Home Turf" as their homecoming float. The juniors won the parade judging for best float.

Wearing pink, the senior class promoted breast cancer awareness in their salute to their late teacher, Shelby Linahan, in their float. The banner "Remember Our Heroes," at right, is over a pink jersey bearing Linahan's name in tribute.
