The Berean Christian Academy held its third annual Fun Fair on the school grounds, east of Monett, on Saturday, Sept. 8.
Winning is sweet. Cadence McGlothlin and Tristen Ostertag compared prizes they had won at Saturday's Fun Fair, hosted by Berean Christian Academy, in Monett. Aside from the cakewalk and inflatables, youth had the opportunity to ride a pony, dunk a firefighter into water, and play numerous games of chance at the family-friendly event.

Firefighter Shane Anderson watches carefully to see if the pitch is going to send him into the drink. It did. The Exeter Fire Department's dunk tank was one of the many highlights at this years Fun Fair, hosted by Berean Christian Academy in Monett. According to Anderson, while the afternoon temperature hovered around a balmy 78 degrees, the water in the tank "was cold!" Little ones whose three chances too dunk Anderson missed, often scotched under the tape to hit the lever by hand.
