The annual picnic at St. John's Lutheran Church at Stones Prairie, northwest of Purdy, was held on July 20.
Jaxon Bailey, age 5, tried his hand at the beanbag toss at the annual Stones Prairie Picnic, held Friday, July 20 at St. John's Lutheran Church, located northwest of Purdy. The beanbag toss was just one of many kid-friendly activities at the fest. Adults had the oppor-tunity to listen to music from the band Common Bond, tour the classic cars at the cruise in, play bingo and partake of the many concession and bake sale items offered for sale.

There is just something special about a restored classic car, and guests at this year's Stones Prairie Picnic, held Friday evening, had the chance to ogle a few motors and interiors, as well as admire the paint, on a few of the area's best offerings.

It's always a challenge to pick a perfect duck and Sydney Coleman, 2, strug-gled to pick three of the brightly colored quackers at this year's Stones Prairie Picnic. Her brother Brayden, 5, and grandmother, Queeta Crawford, offered to help the little miss, but she was determined to capture her own.

Several children kicked off their shoes and entered the bouncy fun world of the Looney Tunes inflatable. The giant toy was just one of the popular features at the annual Stones Prairie Picnic, held Friday night northwest of Purdy.

Everything tasted good, even the pink plastic penguin, won by Lylah Davis, 18 months, at the annual Stones Prairie Picnic, held Friday evening northwest of Purdy. Lylah is the granddaughter of Judy and Gary Davis of Purdy.
