The fourth annual Pierce City Arts Festival was held on Saturday, June 9, in downtown Pierce City.
Tents lined Walnut Street in Pierce City on Saturday with local artists displaying their works for local citizens. Booths contained any number of artistic endeavors including paintings, woodworking, photography, jewelry and pottery. The event also featured food and wine-tasting opportunities.

Sherry Petty, famed muralist from Carthage, demonstrated how to draw faces during one of the free workshops held on Saturday at the Pierce City Arts Festival. Petty sketched several drawings from photos for attendees, with subjects ranging from dogs to children and adults.

The Nudie Foodie, Grace Rybarczyk, of Springfield, was one of the featured guests at this year's Pierce City Arts Festival. She prepared several samples of cuisine made from wholesome, organic ingredients for guests to sample.
